President's Message
Dr. Morris Elstein
2012 promises to be an exciting year for Temple Emanuel. We
continue to transition and evolve into an active synagogue providing a
wide variety of programs for all ages. Rabbi Barnett continues to be an
inspiration, leading services and now teaching several classes on Judaism.
These programs are outlined in this edition of the Megillah. The
challenge facing Temple Emanuel as well as other synagogues is how to
motivate our members to take advantage of the opportunities that await
you. If nothing else, I hope that each of you will sustain these programs
by becoming sponsors; and therefore showing your support for those
members who have worked so diligently to bring these programs to
fruition.
Let us redouble our efforts to make Temple Emanuel a premier synagogue
in 2012.
